The consumer group who have emerged due to the increase of the proportion of the elderly people within society as a result of the modern life confronts some problems in buying ready garments. The ready garments are usually designed for young people with normal body dimensions and therefore do not address the elderly. Ergonomic garments should be designed by taking into account of the physical, psychological, economic and sociological status of the elderly. Ergonomic garment design is important for elderly people due to the fact that it helps them do their daily activites, live their elderly lives happily and in good health. This research has been prepared and conducted to measure the body size of the elderly to produce underwear, and to have some necessary measurements in the standardization of elderly women body size. A questionnaire has been prepared and conducted on 84 people who are 60 years and over. A correlation analysis to determine the relationship among body sizes and a regression analysis for the sizes which are thought to be important for garment design have been conducted and some regression models have been formed. Measurements with high correlation have been concluded to show similarities between the results of the research conducted on female adults, however the regression correlations have been found different.
